School-based practical training

In response to training priorities identified in our June 2018 SEND survey, which was completed by 45 Bradford SENCOs, we have put together a programme of courses for the academic year 2018/19.

This programme of school-based courses will be delivered by Specialist Leaders of Education (SLE) and Local Leaders of Education (LLE) who are expert and current practitioners working in mainstream and special schools.

Team Teach network

Our Team Teach accredited senior leaders meet to ensure that schools are up to date with the latest requirements of law and to discuss any strategic or authority wide issues linked to our agreed Care and Control policy.

It also includes a network of Team Teach tutors who meet regularly to discuss any more specific issues, to receive updates and to ensure that tutors have a support network. This ensures that we deliver training for staff across our partner schools in behaviour management techniques.  For further information contact Hannah Copeland >>
